How we work
Every house goes through the same four stages. It keeps us disciplined on price and means each property is finished to a standard we are happy to hold for years.
We buy houses that need work, usually terraces and semis that other buyers pass over. We can move quickly and we do not rely on a chain.
Local trades bring the house up to standard: electrics, heating, kitchen, bathroom, damp and decoration. We cost the work before we commit.
Once the work is done the house is revalued and moved onto a long-term buy-to-let mortgage, which frees capital for the next purchase.
The finished home is let at a fair local rent and kept. We hold what we refurbish, so it pays to do the job once and do it well.
